Looking by my last post I am sure all 10 of my readers are wondering if I fell off the face of the earth. Well I didn't we have had a crazy few weeks, with fundraising, company, and then we started our fall off with a cold. The girls and I have been sick all last week and partly this week. We are slowly getting over it, but man, what a drag.
My writing has been slow, every now and then a post will pop into my head and I will start to write it in my brain, but when I get the energy to get up and write it out duty call like a baby cries, or the phone rings, I just seem to get busy and forget. So this post will be short and sweet. Cause a mama has to shower!
We visited the Apple barn on Sunday with the Children's Heart Network. It was our first visit to the apple barn and our first outing with the CHN. The sun came out, it was a beautiful day for playing in the dirt, feeding baby goats, and picking out our pumpkins. We went on a hay ride, fed the baby goats, met new friends, and drank some yummy, yummy apple cider. By the time we were done, the girls and us adults were pooped! Totally and utterly exhausted.
Nevaeh had no fear of the animals. Even the ones that were bigger then her, it was if she was best friends with all the animals. But this little goat, loved Nevaeh.
The slides were fun, fast for us, but slower for her. One slide Corey took her on was so fast, but so little Corey though he was going to get stuck half way down.
Behind the scenes... this is what was really happening. If it wasn't in her own hair it was in her sisters.
Thanks goodness for wagons...
... and thanks goodness for these two little pumpkins!
