Stealing?! and A Shrinking list!

I have to admit, I have really enjoyed having a to do list this Summer and plan to do one for the fall as well. I am not done my list completely, but I am well on my way. The only thing I think I am going to have a hard time completing is the learning to knit thing, and maybe do a bathroom makeover. I really want to, but funds always stand in the way. I have started to plan, and pick out colors and getting my prices together. So that kinda counts right??

Maëlle needs her own room, like yesturday!  She need space to put all her stuff in hang clothes, hang pictures, this little love needs a space to call her own.  So we have begun, I have colors I love and things to use, we just need time.  It is our only spare room and with us expecting company we need the extra bed for them to stay in.  So all we can do is plan then come Sepember after all is said and done we will transform the once dark, cold spare room into a comfy, warm, welcoming space for a beautiful little girl.  We also have many plans for miss Nevaeh's room, we will transfer her bed into a toddler bed and clean her room into a kid friendly play zone, so out will come her keepsakes from her bottom two drawers and put away anything she can break, or hurt herself on.  Not that her room is not child safe, but she can get into trouble in there ie reach into her top drawer and pull out all the diapers, wipes and Vaseline.  We can also remove some of the toys from the living room and put in her room to play with.

Bathroom colors are still in the works! I am thinking All white with a accent lime green or a turquose color. I am open for suggestions!

I have found this amazing website and facebook page that has me sitting in front of this darn computer every morning at 8am sharp!  It is called Baby Steals!  Love it!  I even have Corey Stealing!  They also have one called Kid Steals which is just as great in opinion.  But you have to be checking it out right at 9am MST which in my case is 8am.  They have some great steals.  But don't take my word for it you have to check it out yourself!  And if you don't then more steals for me.  :)  Visit my new page LINKS to see all my favorite pages/blogs (which include these two) and to grab a button to link to my blog!

Now that I am back from stealing ;) In case your wondering I picked up a child's ergo carrier for miss Nevaeh and footless tights!  YIPPIE!!


So here is my shrinking list as of today!

1. Read 2 books (from the library) Not including kids books. (done one) on my third!

2. Invent "one" of the most delicious, yummiest, drinks ever. Still have to do this, hum??

3. Plan, and go thorough with the wedding dress shoot. With all the book club ladies and anyone else who wants to join us. Booked for September 3, 2010

4. Wear my wedding ring all the time.

5. Have 2 date nights, no kids allowed.  If I have any volunteers to babysit for 3 hrs that would be wonderful!

6. Learn to knit, and make something cute for the girls to wear in the fall.

7. Have a picnic by the ocean and watch the sun set.

8. Make pies Strawberry, rhubarb, blueberry, and raspberry.

9. plan and start to redecorate the main bathroom. (in planning stage)

10. Plan a games night with a few friends.

11. Go to the drive in movies.

12. Visit Party in the Park at least 3 times. Done once, going again this friday!

13. Print and hang some of the photos I have taken.

14.  Design Maëlle's room. (started)

15. Go unplugged for one day, no computer, no iphone, no tv.

16. Make a new dinner from the Kraft emails I get every week. (well on my way)

17. Make raspberry jam, lots of it!

18. Can tomatoes.

19. Pick and use all the delicious fruit and veggies form our love garden.

20. Complete all tasks before the end of summer!

Anyways I have dinner to attend to!
