Family, Good Friends, yummy food, and a fun shoot

23 May 2010
This long weekend we had two special visitors.  My sister and her husband came all the way from chilly Edmonton to spend May long weekend with us.  Nevaeh, Maëlle, and I love Auntie Sarah, and is very well in the running to be the best Auntie ever.  The girls have really taken to her and have fallen deeply in love with their Auntie and Uncle.  It will be a very sad departure.  But we wont think about that yet, we still have a whole day to spend together.   It has been so nice to have a extra pair of hands helping me out.  I have been able to have a shower blow dry my hair and get dressed all in a row, and not have to break it up throughout out the day.
We took advantage of the one day of sunshine and get out for some pictures in the back yard.   Nevaeh loves to get outside and and play in the grass.   She is becoming more and more steady on her feet.  Her physiotherapist came out for a visit and suggested a few things to work on.  Kicking a ball, stepping over things. All to help with her balance,  she is doing so good we are so proud of her, and she is so proud of her self.

Great Friends... are hard to come by.  This is my best friend of forever Sarina.  Her and her boy toy came out to visit us and hit up one of the best pizza houses around.  We walked and talked, and like always we laugh.  I laugh at her she laughs at me then we laugh at ourselves.  We are funny girls, well at least we think so.

Kids, hats and a vintage candy store.  What could make a better photo shoot.  ah...
NOTHING.  I had to post this picture, because it brings me back to when I was eight.  The feeling I get when I look at this photo is pure joy and fun.  What is she telling her?  We will never know.  True friendship is when you have a short amount of time to finish your veggies and you friend risks it all to help you out when mom wasn't looking.  Then both girls feeling so guilty they spill the beans with out even been asked.  What great kids!
