We heart Summer

Yes we do.  Sun kissed baby noses, and cheeks, the smell of sunscreen, dirty fingers, butterflies, pretty much everything about it.  Getting out to enjoy the weather is hard packing up two kids alone is a all day adventure, I check and re check the diaper bag, sippy cup check, diapers check, hats, check, snacks check, wipes check, sunscreen check, extra clothes check, blanket check, camera check, jacket check, more diapers check, kids in the car check, keys check, phone check, stroller check, wrap check... then as I am about to lock the door I think do I have everything?  I feel like I forgot something.... hmmmm.  Nope thats it.   Then as we are driving down the road I remember.  The soother.  I either go back or say forget it,  if I really need it i'll buy a new one.  It never fails I always forget something!

We spent the day with my best friend & I hope my girls best friend!  We walked, sipped coffee, chased shadows, blew dandelion seeds, shopped and talked.  I love getting out somewhere different.  Right now I am looking for a place I can take the girls where we can spend the day playing in the sun.  A place that when we talk about it it gives us that warm and fuzzy feeling.  You know that feeling like your on holidays in a warm place with the perfect weather or on a cold evening the kidlets are tucked safe in bed, and sit down in front of the warm crackling fire with a cup of hot cocoa or a tall glass of wine talking to the love of your life about anything and everything or reading a good book.  That feeling.  Thats what I want.  So were looking...

Nevaeh loves her baby sister so much, I love to see them together, I am able to give Nevaeh more freedom with Maëlle now that she is older and not so breakable.  I love to see Maëlle look at her big sister she smiles at her like she smiles at her mommy and daddy so you know she loves her!  It melts my heart.

I brought out the bubble machine!  I had no idea Nevaeh would love chasing bubbles and popping them as much as she did.  It was very cute.  When the breeze was just perfect the bubbles would rise and the whole sky was full of bubbles.  It was beautiful kinda magical.  If only the flowers would spontaneously spew bubbles every so often.  Do you think our world would be a happier place.  I know it would put a smile on my face.  And the face of my little loves.
