One boy & Three Girls...

15 April 2010

Well I welcome myself to the big wide world of BLOGGING.  Although this is not my first attempt at it, I do have a work blog for current clients, potential client, & any and all fans!  Ya right I am not even sure anyone looks at my blog, except for myself, Billie (a friend and fellow photographer), and people I force to look.  I am not super interesting nor do I lead a fancy exciting life that people will stay up for hours reading about all the cool things I have done, or plan on doing.  Nope thats not me at all!  I am well almost as plain, as plain comes (in a good way).  I often feel a boring life is a good life.  One with little stress.  Sometimes to much excitement, good or bad is draining.  This blog will lead you through my life, an honest glance! (hence the title)

So you ask who is in my life?  I have many friends, and family who are all very important in my life, but the ones you will hear about most is my husband Corey.  We met in high school and will be married 10 years in July!  He is a smart man, almost too smart if you ask me... one thing I love about him, is he loves to joke, no matter what he always seems to have a smile on his cute face. Corey is one of the hardest working trust worth guys I know.  He is an amazing father and husband!  When I look at him I still get those fuzzy feelings!

On April first 2008 my life changed (and not from a practical joke from Corey) but because one of the most important parts of my life entered the big world.  My daughter Nevaeh (backwards spells Heaven) was born @ 8:57am.  I have been reading a few birth stories and I will one day sit down and write one.  But for now some things you need to know about my now, two year old.  She is beautiful, she has long silky blonde hair,  a never ending supply of smiles & kisses.  She is outspoken, has a mind of her own and will let you know exactly what she is thinking or feeling.  She has got to be one of the cutest little people I know.  She has over come so many obstacles in her short life, and is the bravest, strongest 2 year old I know. She also has Downs Syndrome (aka Trisomy 21).  It is so important to know that this disability is what she has and not who she is.  She is Nevaeh! You can follow her on her website: http://www.babyhomepages.net/whatisthatapositive/

On February 17, 2010 our family of three became four! We welcomed Maëlle @ 4:57am.  Now Maëlle is new to our family, but she is so loved.  As a new baby I could not ask for a better one, She sleeps almost all night and pretty much has from day 7.  She only cries, when she is hungry, needs a change or just needs some cuddling.  Which I find with the Maëlle I don't get enough time to cuddle her.  She is the complete opposite of her big sister in many ways...  Maëlle has dark brown hair, her skin tone is olive color, she is growing much faster, she will take a bottle, and a soother.  She is just starting to smile and coo, I love this stage!  You can follow her on her website:

Well I am so excited to start this whole blogging thing!

Here I am with my 2 girls!
